Childline Christmas Campaign
Progress of raise so far:
Let's get the calls answered.
Abuse and neglect don’t take Christmas off. So neither do we. Childline counsellors are there for children 24/7, even on Christmas Day. Help us answer their calls.
When schools and services are closed, when children have nowhere else to turn, Childline is here. We're the only service for children open all night, all year, whatever their worry. Our counsellors give children and young people the support they desperately need 24 hours a day. And every hour of the Christmas night shifts, we expect a call from a child feeling suicidal. We must be there for children. Every day, every night, whenever they need us. This Christmas our counsellors will be there. You can be there too.
£4 could pay for one of our trained volunteer counsellors to answer a child's call for help to Childline.
On average, we deliver 800 counselling sessions a day across 12 Childline bases. Childline is here for children this Christmas, 24/7. Even Christmas Day. It means we’re there when children need us most. But right now, there are many more children who need our help. 1 in 3 children who contact Childline this Christmas will go unanswered. £4 could pay for one of our trained volunteer counsellors to answer a child's call for help to Childline.
